Precisely the rationale which led to the Kavanaugh elevation to nominee, from a far wider, more diverse field of candidates. Kav's main qualification? He believes strongly in presidential powers, and that the executive IS untouchable.

Kav was the least qualified among the list of '25 prospects' Donald said he'd consider. Yet he zeroed in on Brett Kavanaugh. What does that tell ya? 45 could care even less now as POTUS, than he did back in 2016.
