Just noticed it today maybe its first day and a great location Laramie on the UP. I spent the night here back in the early 90's shooting video.
Just love the action and the scenery during summery weather in Laramie. Laramie a flat spot between grades going east or west. Noticed today
that the westbounds seem to be coasting at 45-55mph while the eastbounds are already noticeably slowed as they tackle the grade going east.
This is going to be a great addition to the many live railroad cams today. Notes...Laramie like Revelstoke and Flagstaff and a few others...its a
"no whistle zone" so you have no warning to look for a train other than noise. So far the noise of a train coming at Laramie is only audible when
its "right here". Which means you pretty much have to watch all the time or you might miss a trains power passing by. Just snowed in Laramie
and we get to see what the UP is running via the Overland Route.
If you are in a horror movie, you make bad decisions, its what you do.
