Quite the list, yep. But that group could be expanding sooner than the blink of an eye. Or within the next few days, weeks, or months. Nobody really knows, including those just thinking about it. Obviously the declared candidates are all anti-Trump. They think they can unseat the current leader of 'the free world' and the least popular president of the United States ever.

The list:

Here is the list of candidates, in no particular order, and the status of their deliberations based on their announcements and reviews of local and national news organizations:

NameAgeState of candidacy
Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts69Running for president.
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii37Running for president.
Ex-HUD chief Julián Castro44Running for president.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York52Running for president.

Montana Gov. Steve Bullock52Has said he would not decide until May 1 when the 2019 Montana legislature adjourns.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio57De Blasio has made four trips to Iowa and is considering a run. His wife said the timing is not exactly right for a bid.
Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts40Running for president.
Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams45Says shes not going to dismiss it out of hand the way others do.

Just so ya know there are 5 or 6 people on this list who have not officially announced their intentions.

So as not to muddy the water with "Wanna-Bees", I will ignore this list until its title accurately describes

its contents.

You can lead a horse to water, but ya can't make him drink.

Just so you know, in the context of this thread's topic, it should read:

"Democratic Candidates Running for prez in 2020"

or

"List of Democrats running for prez in 2020"

Dont let FOX State Media pollute your brain. It makes a difference. If it didnt, why do the FOX propagandists contort themselves into pretzels trying to change the name of the Democratic Party?

We gotta figure at least half of 'em have no chance of being THE nominee of the Dems. But they're all motivated by the same goal; Ousting Trump. A noble goal. Yet I still have misgivings. My preference? Kamala Harris. Maybe Joe B. But that's not a sure thing.

Remember the number of Repugs who declared their intentions before 2016? By the second round of debates, there were maybe four of 'em left standing. Will we see a repeat of 2015-2016 in the Dems primaries?

Who knows. One thing's for sure though, there ain't enough money ta go around while 15-18 folks declare their intentions to go against Trump!
