The print on the fan and the font selection is especially hideous. On another note, do ya reckon that's that flag is that bus wrap shit on the engineer's side window?
Any great pictures of these 2 units will get many views because they are "one of a kind" and "rare".
Today's "rare" is stuff like this. NS with the heritage fleet is still "rare" as each railroad SD70's one of
a kind and "rare". Several of them have made it up the BNSF Bellingham Sub which is double/triple rare.
UP has their heritage fleet too and of course any picture with one of those units is..."rare".

You probably are correct. One guy gets killed and everybody else has to celebrate their birthday the day they kilt him.
I know that the railroads wanted to make the adjustment in November by moving Veteran's Day because they had Friday problems every year the day after Thanksgiving. Don't even ask about negotiations trying to get Martin Luther King's Birthday federal holiday added as the 12th holiday.
Every time, they wanted to shift any one of the single federal non-Monday holidays. Not any of the six double holidays. Not any of the federal Monday holidays - President's, Memorial, or Labor Days. That left Good Friday or the 4th of July. I'm talking to you, Good Friday.
They tried to make it into Sophie's Choice when the right thing has always been to expand the number to 12 holidays.
Mr Snippy probly the one to ask when the railroads offered to pay double time and half on your birthday to begin with.
It had to be a "bargin chip" of some kind back in the early-mid 20th century. Once your railroad career gets going you
find yourself working your birthday seems all the time. So I guess it depends on the person with the birthday what they
want to do with the day. The railroad doesn't care if its your birthday. You got your B-Day money Good Friday. You learn
how insensitive the railroad can be .
