Cummins diesel Indy cars?

Yep. A few factoids about Clessie's outfit that ya never hear about, or much about. I knew they 'tried' a few races, but not the extent that they actually accomplished by doing so. The rest as they say is history. Damn good engines, found in vehicles and equipment worldwide.

Anybody follow yesterday's 500, besides Mr. The Krink? Kinda wondering about the Cummins diesel engined cars. Did they make an appearancw, and most of all did they run a few laps?

Lotta Indy 500 news, but nary a word on the legendary diesel cars. Not one word! But everything else you'd wanna know, or not.

Oh yeah, I didn't see whether Danica was in the booth...

Dani was with Junior in the downstairs booth.

She still has very nicely toned pectoral muscles. And, thats important, you know.

"Snippy's" prediction is that she wont be spending much time calling races.

Jr. started out driving the pace car. They told him 80mph 1st lap, 90mph second lap, and as fast as he wanted to go after that.

Never heard anymore but after the red flag he showed up in same booth with Danica. Seein as ta how Danica drove several of Jr's cars

I'd say Jr saw them titties dance.

All five (5) have been restored to as new condition, and took their laps prior to the real stuff...

The reason... a Cummins diesel will never sound like a "loud insect" like all the other engines used at Indy.
That's why NASCAR is so popular because their V-8 engines sound like "real racecars" and not a swarm of
angry bees. The "angry bee motor" makes a car go pretty fast or they would use something different.
