Santa Fe Jct is the busiest place in the Kansas City MO complex of rail lines crossing. Located in the West Bottoms area of KC where many lines cross/diverge.
I have quite a few pictures/slides from a April 1984 visit to this "place" where the action never stops. They got 2 360 cams covering this Santa Fe Jct and everywhere
they point is trains...when there is somebody at the controls. Night time they just point it somewhere for the night and you still see trains like right now. Still can hear
all the trains I cant see if you like that 10mph slow freight passing by with some flange squeals. And like La Plata when no sounds of trains there is the sounds of crickets.
