The Bednars are father/son/others taking super8 with sound railroad "movies" in the 50-60-70"s. Basically home movies with no editing. I think hearing
the "real sounds" of these trains and in color is pretty cool. Most 8mm movies had no sound and some railroad video companies try to add "canned locomotive"
noise to the 8mm movies which is usually a disaster. Pretty much the whole collection going to Volume 11 is dealing with all the railroads that eventually became
part of Conrail. What also makes for me is this tough/gruff sounding man talking you through each scene/train/location. He has a great "railroad humor".
To speed up the process when each video ends...FF to actual end. So watch the videos posted by "John Pechulis" who seems to be posting all these
Bednar films. Enjoy how it was.
