You may have noticed that "Snippy" has a thing for hospital ships. We had an active one tied up in the Mississippi River very nearly on our back door step when I was 11. It was a converted troop transport made into a hospital ship during WWII by the citizens of Hoboken, NJ directly purchasing war bonds to do it.

Anyway, compare the size of MERCY to a NIMITZ class carrier. MERCY's helipad would cover a significant portion of ABRAHAM LINCOLN's flight deck.

It's rumored BD got out of the hospital long enough to attend a religious event in a southern city known for its primitive jazz and uninhibited partying, as well as having a strong French bent. Does anyone know if BD had to return to the hospital after attending aforementioned event?

Religious celebration by definition. Well, sort of, maybe: Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday", reflecting the practice of the last night of eating rich, fatty foods before the ritual Lenten sacrifices and fasting of the Lenten season.
