This is so long ago I couldn't remember how it turned out so I watched it again as it aired again. Same broadcast. 16 players playing in their 1st all-star game
and 16 players that would be Hall of FAme. Steve Carlton vs Nolan Ryan starting pitching but both got rocked. Lee Mazelli of the Mets was hitting star with
a PH home run and drew a walk in the 9th inning to force in a run. Dave Parker was game MVP for a couple of laser-like like throws to nail runners.
Very close exciting game. So during the game "Morganna the Kissing Bandit" made a dash onto the field with her Dolly Parton sized rack running around
before police "gently" grabbed her and took her away. Who can forget that moment. But I forgot there was a moron guy with no Dolly Parton sized rack
running onto the field too. Cops no so gentle with this guy. Noticed back then the baseball not changed out after every "dirtball" or bouncer. If the baseball
dint go out of play they used the same ball all inning. Still had AL and NL umps with red or blue and wearing the hold-up inflatable chest protector/balloon
at home plate. Those were the days.
