I guess you have to thank the squirrels and jays for making me drive into Everett for a 25lb sack of raw peanuts the last few weekends. Always bring my camera
and its a nice scenic easy drive "around the horn" of Everett to Bayside Yard where trains may be waiting for a new crew to go north. I've got "3-wide shots" many
times at Bayside. Its the nature of the BNSF Bellingham Sub as they have to "fleet trains". Bayside Yard gets "refilled" with northbounds 3-4 times a day/night.
No sign of any slowdown in rail traffic thru Everett. Coal and Oil same. Might be down a stacktrain but that comes out of Seattle/Tacoma. CN sends down a oil
train to Portland and some grain trains. Some regular northbound baretable trains. Everett WA has become a very important place.
