Very nice. Cant wait to collect them all. The daily Virtual Railfan "Grab Bag" will have one of these units going by
someplace. Just like the NS heritage fleet you can watch go by on some train every day. Disappointed BNSF dint
do all the previous paint schemes of the past. Maybe they are thinkin' they dont have as plenty of units in BN paint
and Santa Fe warbonets still. What would really look sharp is the newest SD70ace painted in CBQ red/gray/white.
Always loved the NP black/yellow paint and the fucking "church bell" on top. The GN orange and greenish black already
been celebrated with the BNSF H1 paint scheme. That leaves the SP&S and Frisco. BNSF needs some public pressure
to do it right and not a half dozen units going around with "decals" of its past railroads.

Be surprised Steam how much of the BC Rail painted still roam CN like they wear that paint until they die. Same philosophy as BNSF. I mean you got a great chance of seeing BN "Cascade green and white" 25yrs after the merger. You can watch Sante Fe SD40-2s still painted Santa Fe "blue bonnet switching in Belen NM.
I think its great leaving so many unpainted running around. Just means those units perform well and no major
breakdowns and deserve to live longer. And...every day/train they are on they become railfan material.

Yeah, they are the darlings of the local flamer scene and much excitement is generated when one of them is in the neighborhood. That being said, there is a fair amount of negative opinion about the WC unit. Although I think that it's cool that LINTCO actually go for heritage paint vs just adding a few decals, tu me it seems like they could have tried a bit harder on the WC unit, though to be fair, it is a bit more complicated than the other units.
