The customer I switched could empty 9 whales at the same time. He always told us

the emptys were more dangerous than the loads. The loads would burn like a bic lighter,

The emptys had residue which could explode.

 I saw one once, oh wait, I think one of them is still active, Q-gate, down* in TQCOTW.  Other than that, I gather Wick's Yard hump is silent, still.

*In view of Cy's present location, Cy should say UP, not down.

Question: Why would you run a empty tank train over the hump?

Answer: Easy way to increase the number of cars humped on this shift.
