End to end mergers the best as CP has the ex-MILW route Chicago to Kansas City and a couple other ways. KCS a plum to pick for a long time and

nobody did nothing until now. Not official yet but a good shot at approval. CP wants the ex-Spokane International/UP from Eastport ID to Spokane WA

so it can interchange with UP and BNSF at Spokane. 

CP buying KCS for $25 billion.

LAMCO will get took over nextby CP. They got the free milk from the KCS for tu long. Now, the cow is a beaver that wont fill up the LAMCO free milk glass anymore.

Whole bunk of ideas of what to name the new/old railroad. KCS is not a railroad but a "Line" as its official
name is "Kansas City Southern Lines". So in the last while KCS has gone deep into Mexico. CP and CN
snatch up the only 2 major railroads going North/South. CN with the IC doesnt serve Mexico. CP with
the KCS can transport much traffic from Canada to Mexico. Now back to the new name. Sort of officially
its "Canadian Pacific Kansas City" which doesnt work for me. "Canadian Pacific Southern" seems a better
choice. Will be interesting how this turns out.

TW5k suggests let's just stick with the logical abbreviation, compounding  the already existing initials.

Then, the tortured souls of the CP-KC road can say "Canadian Pacific Killing Crews" which is not even funny.

But the poignant truth is completely apparent tu rail "road" people who all know the elephant in the room analogy, way tu well.
