The Pickaway County Sheriff's Office says a teacher's aide at Teays Valley Middle School was arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student at the school.
Sheriff Matthew Hafey says an investigation was launched after an employee of the school reported an "odd relationship" between 33-year-old Mandy Davis and a student.

There was a huge scandal in Cy's hometown in about 1951, when the championship-winning basketball coach seduced, attacked, consorted with, hard to say, a 15 year old girl. He ended up in prison and the story was hush-hush. I asked several old school friends whose roots go back way farther in that area than mind and none of them knew anything about it. One asked her aunt and the aunt told her how the whole town was scandalized.
