"Derailment" putting it mildly. Try a 100+car train derailing at 70mph and what you get is an 80 car derailment/pile-up. This on the BNSF southern transcon/ATSF tracks near "Nowhere" NM. Someone mentioned a X-over at the location of the derailment. Others mentioned some Xmas packages that might not make it. This is the "Sun square Neptune Derailment" not caused by an EF5 tornado. Huge impact on BNSF operations between Chicago and LA and CA Bay area. No estimated time to re-open which means its a fucking mess.
