I havent looked to see if any video of the moving of the BNSF Skykomish Depot from original location to other side of the tracks
This all happened a while ago when BNSF had to cleanup toxic mess from years that was affecting ground water. I was the last
BN Opr sent to "train/learn" at Skykomish early 80's. The old head was going to retire. So when he retired Skykomish closed.
Watching VR Skykomish Wa you can see the Skykomish Depot on the south side of the track now. Its a railroad museum and
soon the mini-trains/garden gauge will start running on weekends. Gives the Skykomish VR camera man something to focus on during
dead time on the BNSF at Skykomish.

Recent Images | The Peripatetic Ferroequinologist (wordpress.com)

Look under "Recent Images" / April 3 / scroll down many pictures.

They had tu pick it up, cross the tracks, up the hill and then turn

it 180 degrees to get front of tower looking over the tracks.

Had a potential SNAFU, but overcame and adapted. Congrats tu

all involved.

I can tell sloppy scans of negatives and slides when I see them.

 Clavalin noted:

I think Mr Putz has a digital camera and not a film camera. The

reason being it could take 1 tu 3 weeks to get your film done

at CVS, and they dont return your negatives, you get a cd instead.

Mr Putz witnessed the act on Saturday and posted on Sunday.

Theres no way he could have done that with real film. Unless he

can develop film make slide nounts. I'd say  He is all digital and

works with jpeg's. At least he shares his photos and doesnt ruin

the pictures by adding an obvious watermark including the following

words, " Professional railroad photography productions studios LLC

all rights reserved do not repost do not copy."

Krink, I long ago decided that any picture that is a picture of something that has now disappeared or changed in some fashion, is a picture that has value. Sloppy or otherwise.

An iPhone 12 and up makes a remarkable old timey paper photos scanner. The phake phone cameras have gotten damned good.

Well Calvin I stand corrected...sloppy digital photos. I notice how much my digital pictures posted here take
a hit on quality after posting. The posted picture lacks the crispness of the original and about a quarter of
the original MB's in size. Just about every website that has train pictures shrinks them down to "KB's" in size.
Who knew that millions of train pictures would be available all at once.
