Looks pretty bad with the flaming tankcars and evacuations. No idea how many cars derailed or much else as its still happening in the darkest hour of the night.

Check with link in the daylight hours of Saturday for a better assessment. Sun square Uranus/Venus square Mars celestial help.

Speaking of derailing every week. I saw what had looked like a wheel being dragged for about a mile. I was thinking no way a wheel did that, but then you see where it hit the next crossing and the ties were no longer torn up, and you could see marks in the asphalt. There was something similar on the line south, but at the end of the torn up ties there was a car on its side.

At the end of Saturday I havent read any speculation to the cause of the derailment. It appears to be on straight track.
141-9 car count and 16K tons. No mention of a DPU in the train but could have had one. Track speed 45mph but doubt
this train was doing it. We all learn at the same time on this derailment what happened.

Looks like STSB is wrong again. Record cold snap and a hot bearing gets by the detectors. Shocking. This means its Mechanical Departments turn tu eat one.

Situation has worsened as one tank of vinyl chloride could blow any second. If you are within a mile of derailment site
and dont evacuate you could be arrested. Serious times in East Palestine OH.

I've said it before but I was on a train that had a car on the ground and rerailed itself at road crossings a good number of times from the time we departed Clown Town until we got to a rural Ohio town, a good 90+ miles, when they sent out a signal maintainer to see what happened to a hot box detector, as we used to call them.

Wonder how iffy this is?

A "controlled release" of toxic chemicals from five cars involved in a train derailment in East Palestine is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Monday, according to Ohio's governor, the Associated Press reported.

Here's the latest information from the AP:

Gov. Mike DeWine said the release of vinyl chloride is being done to reduce the threat of an explosion.

Residents near the site have been ordered to evacuate. The site is very close to the state line, and the evacuation area extends into Pennsylvania.

YouTube been great with the latest press releases from derailment town OH. Have noticed the local TV news stations
people seem like amateurs and not as pretty. So cleaning up this huge derailment hasnt even started after 4 days.
The community of East Palestine OH want their lives back. The only clue to this derailment is the doorbell video of
what appears to be one tankcar with issues several miles before East Palestine. Ironically East Palestine has its own
hotbox detector and that the one that went off with no chance for train crew to take action before derailment.
