2 UP locomotives and 55 hoppers in a barely recognizable mess of twisted wreckage way off the tracks near Kelso CA. Where the "runaway" started
is not known. Fuzzy details on whether this train of iron ore was tied down and got away or the crew had to jump from the train as a serious malfunction
has occurred. CHP found the train crew somewhere walking. I cant find the recent video I saw on late news where a fly over revealed this "huge gouge"
in the earth where this train traveling at high speed couldnt negotiate the curve and went flying off the tracks making this huge gouge. Think this will
be easy to recreate via computer program. Despite the mess think UP should get trains running by this location soon.
This is a "Precision Derailment" where all the wreckage is way away from the tracks. Mainline is already fixed
and trains running again. I keep running into the news that this was full-sized ore train and a broken knuckle
made it a 55 car train. I'm sure what happened is in pgs 2-8 on TO which I cant read.
