Yes, Clavalin, he also won the Triple Crown that year. The man who has the license plate told me that he had a similar plate in Michigan, except that it started with NYY. He was out in the parking lot when we came out and I said, " You must be a big Mickey Mantle fan". To my surprise, he asked me how I knew.

Mantle won the Triple Crown in 1956, when he led the major leagues in batting average (.353), home runs (52), and runs batted in (RBI) (130).

Meh, Mantle (#7) .314 and Bouton (#56) goes 21-7 and has a pitch-off WSG3 with Drysdale. Both All-Stars in 1963.
