I guess Texas is not flat as a string of boxcars escape the yard onto the mainline and gain speed. Dispatcher tells crew on a train heading for the speeding boxcars

to "abandon train". They did. BNSF has enough locomotives to replace the one that got the brunt of the damage I'm sure. This accident seems to be the result

of a "space out" (Mercury oppose Neptune) by whoever was switching in the yard. Like they always say "it could have been worse".
