This might be the last presidential election in the United States as we know it. 2012 has so many "ifs" attached to it that it's highly unlikely that life as we know it will continue on. The next 4 years are going to be something. Don't rule out at this point that the elections in 2008 may not happen at all due to a surprise war or some other concocted event. Bush could be around for extra duty.
