ST. CLOUD, Fla. -- A St. Cloud man's face, head and neck were charred when he sat down in his house to have a cigarette and a bug bomb detonated. The explosion happened at 901 Walnut in the Mark Mobile Home Park. After the bug bomb that was under a cabinet in the trailer went off, the 55-year-old rushed to the shower to cool off his burns, which is where St. Cloud Fire Rescue found him upon their arrival.
The force of the explosion blew the cabinets apart and the stove door open, but nothing in the room besides the man was burned. The man was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
