There are checks, and balances written into the constitution preventing one branch of government from acquiring more power than another. Right?
What about that? The Executive Branch mustn't pass laws, or act as judge, jury and prosecution in cases reserved for the Judicaial Branch. Nor may the Legislative Branch get its fingers inJudicial's pie...or vice versa.
What about that? The 'separation of powers' built right into the US Constitution. What about that?
