Didn't know it was illegal. Wish I had the guys number who got bumped. I bet it was the caller who fucked up and called the guy on vacaction to tell him he was bumped. Rather than the guy saying "why are you calling me on vacation?"......he was probably like just put me on this job. I know when this guy tells his version of the story he will put it all on the caller.

Again, YMMV. You can be assigned, or forced, to a job that was up for bid when you went on vacation. In fact, you have to bid, or you can't move to it. Same coming back, you have to bid immediately if the job is being assigned right after you come back. You cannot pull it if the bulletin expires after you come back. All other jobs, you have 72 hours to move to them IF they were bulletined and awarded while you were on vacation. (N&W Agreement)

To protect the holiday if you were pulled while on vacation, you must make an immediate move upon marking up from vacation. These agreement rules are what makes it illegal to make moves on vacation to fuck others. The agreement protects the guy on vacation and is supposed to protect the guy that is working from a ghost fucking him out of work and money.
