I seen a Bears game at Wrigley, and I saw Bobby Hull break some kind of record with a hat trick. I forget the record, but the hundreds of Fedora's toss onto the ice was amazing.

Yet you wear that awfull Flyers hat? Bill Wirtz  must be rolling in his grave.

How was the game? I forgot all about the game and decided to catch up on some sleep since I worked last night

The Habs and Leafs are trying to work up an outdoor game as well. Maybe the Kings and Coyote's should try too

The only reason Dollar Bill Wirtz would be spinning in his grave would be because he didn't get my last cent.

Cy's been to Cleveland Municipal Stadium, Cincinnati Riverfront (missed going to Crosley Field, darn it), Milwaukee County Stadium, but not Wrigley. Been wanting to go to Wrigley for a good while but haven't made it, lights or no lights. That's about it, only three ML stadiums.

My short list of ballparks visited

The House of Thrills (Cleveland Muni)
Jacobs Field
Three Rivers
Riverfront
The Philly Vet and the new joint
Atlanta Fulton County
Tiger Stadium
Milwaukee County
The Old Comiskey
Wrigley
Metrodome
Coors Field
Candlestick
Royals Stadium

That's a very impressive list, Troll.

Two things I did see. I saw Sandy Koufax hit his first home run ever, off Warren Spahn, no less, in Milwaukee County Stadium in 1962 and I was in the crowd at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis when Michael Jordan came back to the Bulls and the NBA.

Koufax hit two career home runs, both of which happened to be in Milwaukee. Like Willie Mays, his first came off Warren Spahn. The second was against Denny Lemaster.

Not many historical games for me......
'81 All Star Game, '79 World Series, '95 ALDS, ALCS & WS.
I did see Jordan once in '87......Gretzky twice....Nolan Ryan a few times including what turned out to be his swan song.

I it was an obscure record....1983 saw Big Al Secord set a record as the only player at the time to score 50 goals and spend over 300 minutes in the Penalty Box.

Also saw Bobby Hull's #9 jersey lifted to the ceiling of Chicago Stadium.

Are you still sore because the Flyers sent the Habs to the links early last spring?

Ahhh....back where they belong.

Actually I have'nt watched much hockey this year.

I have gone to a couple of WHL games this year and enjoyed it alot as the players TRY. It's good quality hockey, not boring watching the "trap " played all the time like the pro's now.

I've been to a couple of "historic" games

Last game played at the Old Montreal Forum
1st game played at the Bell Center
-those games cost me ALOT

I won a trip to the first game at the new Boston Garden, unfortunately the cab ride from the airport to the hotel, ended in a car accident. Never made it to the game that night.

The Forum was on Troll's list......but I never made it.....gone like Maple Leaf Gardens, Boston Gardens, The Olympia.

The only old joints I made it to was of course Chicago Stadium, The Aud in Buffalo and ther Igloo in Pittsburgh.

The Spectrum on Broad Street comes down this year.

They hang next to a tainted number 4 Packers jersey
