I have been to many games at the Chicago Stadium, I recall that everytime I went, it always seemed to be -20 degrees out. Usually when I went, it was the Blackhawks vs. the Rangers. But it was in the day of Bobby Hull Sr. Stan Mikita, and the goalie, DeJordan didn't wear a mask. Mikita was the only one that wore a helmet.

The night Hull's #9 was retired, they played the Bruins....the air temp was around -20F.....wind chill kicked it down to around -55F
