cy, I heard that without a tool that you could use the reverser handle and cable slipped over the independent handle. Twist round and round and break the cable. Take the small end of the reverser handle and twist it around to break off other end. Discard cable. Go home and stick pins in the voodoo doll of the guy that thought that this was a good idea.

How come CSX is the only railroad that has locos equipped with the "elevated" independent brake?

My voodoo dolls are so full of holes now that there's no place left to stick any pins in. Far as I can tell, it's not working, either. Not like I'd like.

Cops collar train thief
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - A Miami man was arrested in Collier County for allegedly stealing a CSX train and taking it on a joyride, the Associated Press reports.

A CSX diesel locomotive disappeared from the Kendall area late Sunday night. It was parked in storage awaiting assignment.

Following the track southward, railroad personnel and Miami-Dade police found the missing train Monday morning about seven miles away.

A BOLO, or Be On the LookOut was issued for a 1983 Ford F-250 pickup truck.

The truck was found traveling north on I-75 at mile marker 101 in Collier County.

The driver, Brandon Linwood Dowdy was arrested and charges are pending.

I have a set of Espee brass handles in my grip. I have a helper grip to push my grip full of brass handles.

We call them 'pusher grips' on the right coast.

Today, the TM holding our Book of Rules class insisted that the stolen engine went 25 miles. I sat there and kept my mouth shut. Opened my mouth when he insisted deadhead crews riding trailing units were required to answer on the radio the signal aspects being called from the head end.

Was there another stolen engine somewhere recently that went 25 miles. And was auxillary fuel being pumped into the fuel tanks from MU cables somewhere?
