Severe weather causes damage, derails UP train near Missouri Valley

HARRISON COUNTY, Iowa Severe weather ripped through Harrison County, Iowa causing damage and injuries.
Three tractor trailers tipped over during the worst of it; one of those trucks was parked. It all happened on Interstate 29 near Missouri Valley. One of the truckers told Action 3 News he suffered a bump on the side of his head and described what happened as "I thought I was still moving, the wind was so weird. I thought I was still sliding down the street on my side."
We could see blood from his wound. Another trucker had to be taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Also in the area, a Union Pacific train derailed as it was going eastbound; the wind lifting multiple cars off the tracks.
Near 305th, a home and tool shed sustained quite a bit of damage. Emergency crews say no one was home, but they did keep people back from the scene as they assessed the destruction.
