On my every other day visit to RailroadFourms.com, I came across a thread that the GN Railroad Historical Society was presenting some new video footage some oldtimer has posted on You Tube. The scenes and sights gave me goosebumps. Pre-BN Scenic Sub video over Stevens Pass. All the depots are long gone except for Skykomish. Yeah the photographer is not the best, the music is elevator or grocery store music but there are plenty of other interesting things including dispatcher/radio chatter and perhaps the person who put all this together isn't a pro, it still is something to look back on. I came onto the scene just a couple years after the BN merger. I worked with many of the named persons on these videos. What was GN thinking when they came up with the "Sky Blue" paint scheme?
