There are three crossings in or close to downtown Wauseon, and it's certainly conceivable that a disabled train could block all three. There is an underpass to the east of them, though.

Wauseon is a northwest Ohio farm community, heavily Mennonite area. Land is as flat as can be around there, you might even have to go a mile or two to get around a disabled train. Why, it could be the talk of the town for weeks.

Marysville Wa. is flat as a pancake. Fortunately we have 3 exits off
I-5 to get around a disabled train. I cringe every time I hear a train
with troubles in Marysville. No, Marysville is not a bad town with
desparados or anything like that, it just has about 10 crossings
and any long train is going to block about half of them. Do not want
to block 4th street. Gawd what a mess.
