WYANET, Ill. (AP) - BNSF Railway says crews are cleaning up after a freight train derailed in north-central Illinois.
Company spokesman Steve Forsberg says 19 cars of a 92-car freight train derailed near Wyanet in Bureau County. He says plastic pelletsspilled out of 1 car. No one was injured in the derailment Saturday night.
Forsberg says BNSF expects to have tracks reopened by Monday afternoon. The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
