NEW YORK Three Metro-North employees face criminal charges after being caught smoking marijuana and drinking 20 minutes after their shifts started, the New York Daily News has reported. A maintenance supervisor, crew foreman, and mason were caught by investigators with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's inspector general's office Thursday night.
Metro-North has suspended the three men without pay while an investigation is underway; all three have received summons for marijuana possession.
"They will be disciplined to the fullest extent possible up to and including dismissal in accordance with the labor contracts governing their work," the railroad said in a statement. "Alcohol and controlled substances have no place in any of our facilities; finding them here is absolutely unacceptable."
A lot of Metro-North Supervisors are masons. So only 1 in this group was? The other two are toast, but all the mason has ta do is turn his ring upside down and smack it on the table 3 times at the investigation... he'll be back ta work tomorrow...
