Saw Clegg with Savuka in 1988 at the National Stadium in Johnnesburg. The place was packed, and rocking hard! I never saw anything like it since!

Broglio for Brock:

Ernie Broglio tied for the National League lead in victories in 1960 when he won 21 for the Cardinals in his second big-league season. The righthander also won 18 for the 1963 Cardinals team which challenged for, but fell short of, the National League pennant.

But despite those successes, Broglio forever will be remembered as the other half of the trade that brought future Hall of Famer Lou Brock to St. Louis from Chicago in June, 1964. Broglio, after battling cancer, died at age 83 Tuesday night in San Jose, Calif., according to his daughter, Nancy Broglio Salerno.

I have some Pumpsie Green Topps baseball cards from 1964-65. I dint know at the time when I was 11-12 that
Pumpsie Green first black Boston Red Sock. Think Pumpsie's cards in the "common's" forever with little hope of
it worth more than a common card of the set. But a common player in a 1964-65 Topps collection by default could
be $10-15 today just because its over 50yrs old and you don't see them ever. So I will never forget I once knew a "Pumpsie".

Today, August 16 1977, Elvis died. Yep "The King" passed on. His influence on Rock 'n Roll since his appearance during the 1950s can't be denied!

There's a documentary film just out about him called "The King" which starts soon... Watch for it on a big screen near you!

I'll add both Shuttle losses, Kennedy assassination, MLK, RFK, I can probably think of others that I knew where I was.

Easy Cy, easy... Ya might wanna limit yourself ta one at a time, since there is NO prize for reporting multiple deaths as coming in threes. Nope! Ya might consult with the Splooge Brothers about BJPC rules. Which reminds me, haven't you already won twice before?

"Bye Bye Miss American Pie",

Drove my Chevy to the Levy,

But, the Levy was dry.

Them good ol boys were drinkin Wiskey and Rye,

Singin "This will be the day that I die".
