Whose have you run?

I have been thinking a lot lately about the trains I have run in the past for the railroads I have worked for in the past.  I guess the beauty of working for a second rate or even third rate outfit is that I have been exposed to a lot of hand me down units.

I am sure that I have run some of the same locomotives as you miscreants.  Here on LINTCO's Iron Headed step-child, I have run several former Hoghead Bob-mobiles, former SP tunnel motors. One of them even died in that cornfield meet.

I think I have run a few *Cy* mobiles, former Red Team SD-35's complete with high hoods, 2 control stands and no room.

LINTCO Red headed step child had a few Snippy-mobiles as well, though they shortened the hood and put the "F" on the prober end.  (1 SD-35 and several SD-45's).

LINTCO also had a bunch of former Tu-mobiles, ex WP GP-40's.  Rough riding, slippery as hell, but no Mall Santa Claus graffiti in the nose.

Didn't get tu much stuff from BH and Briz-land.  Had a couple of Trash-9's straight from the factory that CSX stole, they still had the new car smell.  The blue cards said they were less than 10 days old so Uke didn't have a chance to dribble grey matter all over them.

We did used to have a bunch of SD45's that Q  and Billy probably broke and Uke fixed.

Plus I eventually ran all of the remaining SDL-39's, so one or more of my ponies at one time dashed through Krinks viewfinder.

Yep boys, it's a small world indeed.

Yeah, and there was a time we regularly got WC SD-45's on the head end of a train that came from BD Land. We reguarly get power from Briz/Bucket/FMB/Ukeland. My trailing unit tonight was one of HHB's finest, UP 4194. Way back when, we would get SP power and remember getting MoPac power a few times. Used to get Western Maryland power occasionally, and then Chessie power later, I've had a few consists of solid Troll/Slugger/Clavalin/Phreddie power over the years. Yep, you right, BD, railroad in the USA is actually a small world.

Meanwhile 2LARRCO 'borrows' Trash-9s from CN, and CP and runs 'em all over hell and creation... Surely they must reach all the way inta Brizville on occasion!

Yesterday out in the yard behind Uke's palatial digs, a Wisconsin Central high-side gon... A throwback ta independence, and true competition amongst the shippers...

We get it all here.
Just visit tard limits and see whats coming down sand patch now.
Having several short line railroads in the area, and the old  WM shop in Ridgeley overhauling and working on other short line railroad equipment we see just about everything.
We also get many passenger specials, As the WM Scenic RR has a large collection of exWM passenger cars. Someone is always leasing out the dining cars and observations for private and execuative trains.

I forgot about all the Susquehanna power that went through here once upon a time, before the Conrail split, and Susquehanna was a player in the intermodal business. Somehow, we used to occasionally get GTW power, too. Recall some IC power, SOO and CN, but never any CP power.

Once in a great while we get a Ferromex unit through here.... they are almost always trailing .... for some reason I expected them to be crap but most appear to be maintained fairly well.... everything on them is written in Spanish...

Have you ever figured it out? That seems odd. Perhaps we could get a Republicunt somewhere to introduce legislation to stop this anti-AmeriKan practice.

Same here. We build trains for the western roads for direct handoff in Chicago. Many of them have road power of the railroad they're headed too.

Last Ferromex through Seattle, ended up at the roho... The boys out in the yard couldn't release the brakes. EMD...six-axle unit...underslung rigging...two shoes per wheel.

They drug it in with trucks cut out... We replaced 24 shoes with Cobra compo shoes, and managed ta fix the problem.

Back out she went. Trailing, but working. In Spanish.

You should have refused to work on it. They ought to have to learn the language if they're comin' to Amerika.
