Interesting... Same sorta idea when the White Pass & Yukon shipped their units ta CEECO in Tacoma, WA for rebuilds, and updated power/engines/electronics, etc.

CEECO is no more, but White Pass continues operations. The latest poop, WP&Y wants ta run freight... Mainly coal, and mining shit!

Tourist operations will continue of course, but freight could offer more steady cash flow!
