It seems to me when I was a kid socks came matched with a right sock and a left sock. Was I dreaming or did mt mother just give them a tug on the toe when they came out of the dyer to make me think it was so?

Wow, man, like, I don't remember anything like that, man. Could it be? Maybe you've confused them with stocking slippers or something. Maybe.
I still can't match a damn pair with another like it! My socks come out of the dryer with one always missing! And the one leftover, looks like somebody elses sock!

Hmm. That address doesnt look right. It looks like the link pointing here was faulty.
Snippy buys and replaces socks all at once, tu. He recently bought two 3-paks of Nautica black socks at Costco.
Tu, they are asymmetrical. There is a right sock logo and a left sock logo. But you can wear them logos inside your legs, logos outside your legs, tu logos left, tu logos right..... Snippy thinks Mother Tu was being finicky about Little Tu's bunny slippers. And, BTW, dryer? WTF? They didn't have dryers when Snippy was just a Little Tin Soldier. Well, rich poeple did.

Rare to find "black sox" that are "warm". Mostly "grey sox" are the ones to have on in the cold. I ran into a situation a couple weeks ago with my dark brown gloves. I never think much about wearing gloves in the cold but as I'm getting older my hands can "freeze-up" much quicker I notice. Been given pairs of "good warm" gloves over the years but never seem to wear them much. Well now I'm glad I got them. Been wearing them almost daily the past couple weeks as my hood teeter-totters the freezing mark. Also good to "do wood" with gloves on. Man...those slips of a big piece of firewood from your cold grasp can cause numbness lasting 15-20 minutes. Anyway a perplexing/confusing/embarassing moment happened to me "twice". "Putting on dark gloves in the dark". I went the garage for a smoke and took the gloves off. When I went to put the gloves back on it took about 5 minutes as you grab one glove and try to put it on and it's the wrong glove or is it the right glove "up-side-down"? It took a while to get the right gloves on the right hands...in the dark. I could have turned on a light but it sort of turned out to be an experiment...utilizing your "other" senses.
