Uke has an opinion to share. Unsolicited of course, the manufacturers of these...things, these 'laptop' computers should be required by law, to supply, with each new laptop device, a lead shield to prevent harmful emissions from entering an owners body.
Of course this may never happen, so Uke offers this advice; Aftermarket manufacturers may offer solutions regarding the above topic. Since lead, as we all know, is heavy. A laptop sized shield would be in the neighborhood of twelve (12) pounds. That of course would defeat the purpose of carrying these very light, portable, and extremely popular devices.
Perhaps some sort of semi-metallic, Kevlar-like mesh which migh not block all rays, but could possibly eliminate 85-90% of harmless emissions from these devices.
