We've had a few unconfirmed reports from correspondents who say they reside in that area... Daloot, Wisconsin, or Superiority, North Dakota, or thereabouts.

But the flooding may have cut off all communication lines since Sunday, and we may never hear from them again. Unless they're able ta tread water more than a few days. We've heard that neither of the three, or four are swimmers in any sense of the word.

Meanwhile BurningJournaldotcom urges our readers to watch TV for news updates on the 'flooding' in Duluth/Superior. (And check your maps tu).

Advice for Blackie... Hang onta Annie's tail, while she swins you around town. Bound ta be a supermarket, or three where ya can restock vittles, and perhaps strong liquid refreshment!

If memory serves... Buckethead used ta have a 'yellow' swimming dog that might be pressed inta service as above tu!
