Man Sues TSA For $5 Million Following Peanut Butter Arrest

Wow there is so much I could say about this story but really

it's two stories in one. I never thought about packing peanut

butter in my luggage for an air-trip. I probly wouldn't because

I've had problems with cologne bottles developing leaks in

my luggage due to the fact that your luggage goes through

many "uncompensated pressure changes" that you dont

experience riding in the passenger cabin. So being an expert

in peanutbutter that needs to be stirred up prior to use, I

think I would just pick up a jar after I get where I'm going.

So the traveler made a silly error packing a jar of "natural

peanutbutter" for the trip. Are the TSA in airports today

from this planet? None of the dozen or so agents have

ever heard that natural peanutbutter is weird in that the

oil rises to the top of the jar. Not one of them had any

experience with peanutbutter that you have to stir-up.
