Amanda Bynes takes to Twitter to rant on her side of the story before she was arrested Thursday in New York City.

 

Girl-gone-bonkers Amanda Bynes called her drug charges all lies Saturday claiming she was victimized by a pervy cop who slapped my vagina."

Don't believe the reports about me being arrested. It's all lies, Bynes wrote a day after she was hauled into a Manhattan courtroom on charges she chucked a bong out of her window.

I was sexually harassed by one of the cops the night before last which is who then arrested me. He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious. He slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment.

Following protocol, the NYPD opened an investigation into Bynes claims, but a source said a building manager who witnessed the two cops arrest the actress saw no evidence supporting her account.

The kooky Tweet was just the latest example of Bynes antics.

Asked about her notable absence from the gossip pages in 2007, the "Hairspray" star credited her retired dentist dad, her office manager mom and her modest upbringing in a quiet Los Angeles suburb.

"I was raised by strict parents. I wasn't allowed to go to the mall alone until I was around 16," Bynes told InterfaithFamily.com.

"I have really smart grounded parents who weren't nouveau riche. They really earned their money, and they know the value of a dollar. They gave morals to me, and I wouldn't want to do anything that would embarrass my parents," she said at the time.

But her fairytale fame wasn't the life she ultimately wanted, and the wholesome and accomplished actress who anchored more than 80 episodes of the hit WB show "What I Like About You" announced her surprise retirement in 2010.

"Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem," she confessed on Twitter. "I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it."

A0522_amanda_bynes_01 Bynes says she is planning to unleash a hailstorm of lawsuits against the NYPD and her apartment complex ... all over her arrest earlier last week ... or as she puts it, her "mistaken arrest."

Bynes just went on another glorious Twitter rampage, saying she plans to file a lawsuit against the NYPD for:

-- "Illegally entering my apartment"
-- "Lying about drugs on me"
-- "Lying about me tampering with non existent drug paraphernalia"
-- "Being put into a mental hospital against my will"
-- "Then locked up overnight for coming home after a facial and working out with my trainer like the good girl that I am."

Bynes also claims she's allergic to drugs and alcohol and is "proud to not be a drug or alcohol user."

She concluded by saying, "I'm free forever! You can't lock up an innocent person! Thanks for caring! Look forward to seeing me in music videos! I'm getting in shape and getting a nose job! I'm looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper!"

Amanda Bynes is vowing to take her bong beef against the police to the courts.

On Monday, the actress, 27 who was arrested on Thursday night for reckless endangerment and underwent a psychiatric evaluation in the hospital lashed out at the NYPD, Tweeting that she plans to sue them for "illegally entering my apartment, lying about drugs on me and lying about me tampering with non existent drug paraphernalia."

Bynes, who allegedly threw a bong out the window of her 36th-floor apartment in front of police, continued, "Then I'm suing for being put into a mental hospital against my will, then locked up overnight for coming home after a facial and working out with my trainer like the good girl that I am."

She has previously claimed that the police officer who arrested her committed sexual harassment when he "slapped my vagina."

Following a DUI arrest a year ago, Bynes has continuously denied claims she's a substance abuser. Her latest tweet states, "I'm allergic to alcohol and drugs and don't partake in any of the above.
