Caffeine withdrawal is now a mental disorder

Dont think I ever experienced caffeine withdrawal.

Drank a lot of coffee working the night shift for

26 years. Now I'm one cup in the morning and

thats that. It guarantees that a "dump" will take

place soon. Lots of other sources of caffeine

like most soda-pop and various other bottled drinks

that seem to be habit forming. "Mental Disorder"

it isnt. It's more a legal drug with no boundries

and the totally naive are the target population...

those learning about drugs for the first time will

all get to experience caffiene at least.

Headaches, lethargy, feeling off center and difficulty with mental focus. Might have been there once or twice. This may be amplified when we use caffeine to mitigate circadian rhythm chaos caused be demands of erratic shift work. Perhaps we could organize a benevolent charity drive since we are an astute and altruistic bunck here. How about a non specific positive mental health based name like...

A "Tip from The Krink"...never use the coffee grinder in the mega-mart.
Say you like "Columbian Supremo" because it tastes like coffee should.
So you dump your bag of coffee beans into the coffee grinder at the
mega-mart, switch the dial to what grind you want, and press the button.
Wow! I now have a bag of ground coffee that tastes like vanilla or raspberry
or hazelnut because the persons before you ground those fruity coffee's
and the flavor "sticks in the machine" because coffee grinders lack a
"self-cleaning" apparatus. I got a Krups spice grinder that works for coffee
beans like a champ. "Fresh Ground Coffee" is the best you can do.
Another tip I discovered watching an episode of "Good Eats" by Alton Brown
is "storage" of the coffee beans you just purchased in what the mega-mart
issues, the slim-line coffee bean paperbag with the wire twist fold. Something
I never considered was "bin-coffee beans" were in a "air-tight enclosure".
So if you have an airtight container to store your coffee beans...use it
and throw the bag away.
