Any TV made since 1977 has a chip in it that turned the

TV into a "2-way" device. Who cares and who knows

about that shit. Well while that has gone on for 36 years

it has gotten a little more serious with the new "Smart-TV's".

Just recently faced buying a new TV and man there are

a lot of choices but the new "Smart-TV" is latest

conglomeration of all the new technology and

of course "very CIA/NSA friendly" circuitry built

in to monitor veiwer data. Are you ready for a

Smart TV? I saw an add on Amazon.com about a 32"

Sony Trintron tube TV used but still works. Price asking

was $1....plus a $100 to ship it from some place in NJ.

Your older high-end TV's usually had all-kinds inputs/

output jacks which made recording shows on your

VCR or DVD recorders easy as pie. Now with all the

cableboxes with limited outputs and the new TV's with

none trying to record anything on your older recording

devices is very difficult.
