Yes, I do know the guy. Younger feller, only been around a few years but he's a good guy. Learned his job, very conscientious.

Wife and a kid.

He's also been misfortunate to witness more thgan a lifetime career full of Death. 2 or 3 suicides and 4 vehicles. And he had to get off the engine and walk back.

Were you or someone else close o that location trespassing on railroad property to take a picture of the train?

Did someone run across the tracks in front of them?

Guys I know show the Loser sign to those who are doing something that could wind up losing their life.

Not too long ago there was a guy got run over walking down the middle of #1 track there at the road crossing at Shen.

Was a eastbound coming down 1. The guy never turned around and looked or made a step outside the gague.

SPLAT!

Don't be a loser. Stay away from the tracks, when we see someone around the tracks its either a Boss watching and testing us, or a crazy Loser.

They are putting up fence and Gates out in the cutoff area (tunnels), don't be surprised if gates and fencing come to the Shen area.

Snippy thought he was "taking the photographer's picture" at first glance. In the old days, some folk did just that. Now, it's just an empty snapshotting pose. No cameras allowed.

Wonder if they have any idea how many times we get birded, mooned, and/or rocked, but not stoned?

Here ya go guys, here is the guy who is complaining's site. Mr Davies.

Under the 5th picture Mr Davies announces to the world what he thinks of the CSX paint scheme...

Im quoting here.."Oh no, CSX 8734 got dork futured, from its previous dark future.   Eastbound at Shen with Q136."

Did he just call the CSXT corporate image a dork in front of the entire internet? 

Heres his 7th pic down.  Yes, it looks like the Conductor is pretending to take a picture. Somebody is doing something illegal.

It looks like the Photographer is dangerously close to the tracks. From an approaching engine, in this curve, it would be hard to judge

just where a person would be. V634 is a 17,000 ton, 130 car train. Putting it in emergency right here has two road crossings blocked and

possibility of a hell of a derailment.  Dealing with Trespassers is a cause of stress to crews who have to live with the actions of those who

think its the railroads job to keep them entertained after Mommy kicks them out of the house.

So, I guess the only thing we as crews can do is to call the proper authority to call law enforcement to check out suspicious people/trespassers.

Trying to pick on an innocent Conductor doing his job is pickin chicken sh^t.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw bricks.
