MEMPHIS, Tennessee - Police say a 68-year-old Grandmother was arrested Wednesday night and charged with domestic assault and making a 911 call in a non-emergency situation. Both charges apparently stemmed from the senior's penchant for a cold one.Rosie M. Pate was taken into custody after police say she slapped her granddaughter with an open hand when she wouldn't buy Pate a beer...Count 1. Then, according to the affidavit, Pate called 911 seeking "police assistance in getting a beer." Count 2. Pate was released from jail on her own accord and had a court date set for Friday.
