It's that the internets doesn't connect all these people. Look at the countries where BJ.com is unknown. If we had a way ta reach 'em, our membership (plus our FunDrives) would triple, or even quadr... Multiply a hunnert times easy!

The majority of people in these countries don't have the Internets! A tragical thing!

October 2, 2014, 1:15 PM ET

More than 60% of the worlds population still isnt plugged in to the Internet, and the rate of adoption is slowing, new data show.

The entire the country of Myanmar is basically disconnected from whats happening online, according to the Washington Post, citing data from a McKinsey & Co. study and the World Bank. Ethiopia, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Bangladesh are the other countries whose percentage of offline population exceeds 90%. India, the second-most-populous country in the world, still has 1.06 billion people offline, or about 85% of the population.

In China, 736 million out of 1.36 billion are not online, and that figure is rapidly shrinking, according to the study.

Overall, three-quarters of the worlds offline population lives in 20 countries.

In the U.S., 50 million people, or roughly 16%, arent using the Internet, though many are offline by choice.

Some of the barriers to accessing Internet cited in the McKinsey study include lack of infrastructure, such as network access, grid electricity and mobile Internet coverage. Countries with a less-connected population also have higher rates of illiteracy and poverty and have greater rural areas. The report estimates between 1 billion and 2.8 billion cannot get online using a smartphone or tablet because of insufficient mobile-network coverage.

The question should be "Who the fuck is Juan de Fuca?"

I seek Wikipedia for the answer to your's and mine question

of the same..."Who the fuck is Juan de Fuca?"

The Strait of Juan de Fuca (officially named Juan de Fuca Strait in Canada[1]) is a large body of water about 95 miles (153 km) long[2] that is the Salish Sea's outlet to the Pacific Ocean. The international boundary between Canada and the United States runs down the center of the Strait.

It was named in 1787 by the maritime fur trader Charles William Barkley, captain of the Imperial Eagle, for Juan de Fuca, the Greek navigator who sailed in a Spanish expedition in 1592 to seek the fabled Strait of Anián. Barkley was the first non-indigenous person to find the strait, unless Juan de Fuca's story was true.[3] The strait was explored in detail between 1789 and 1791 by Manuel Quimper, José María Narváez, Juan Carrasco, Gonzalo López de Haro, and Francisco de Eliza.
