The soda-pop nightmare that a lot us continue to

struggle with. Burgers, Fries, and a Coke. Pop with

every meal..totally addicted to the fizz and sweetness

of the colas. Then some make the mistake of drinking

the diet colas. I've actually kicked the cola habit for more

than 15 years as I converted to drinking really good water.

But I've had sort of a "re-lapse" the last couple months

buying these 8-packs of "mini-cans" of full strength Coke

and it states only "90 calories" per can. I love it that the

"dose of Coke" is back to where it was when you were a

kid and in the equivelent of those little Coke bottles very

famous from gas station pop machines. I recently noticed

I was gaining some weight and I was trying to track down

where it might be coming from and it was from the "notion"

that I can still drink pop everyday. Small can is 90 calories,

Big Gulp at a 7-11..1000K+. So last time at the store I come

home with no pop. Live and learn.

There's about 90 calories in a jigger of 80 proof.

Almost the same resultant sugar effect in the body, much different taste!

TW5k was on an 1800 calories a day diet for a while. Sometimes it was a little more.

That's only about eight of those 20 oz. (Murican) bottles of Coke® brand carbonated refreshment drink.

I'm where you were TW5K..for a while. I account for all the booze calories I consume

daily which many dont so I can look the same as always and wear the same clothes.

Sometimes you get to the point of a great payoff of what calories will make you feel

the best. Some will say give me a bunch of chocolate to eat, some will go for eating a

lot of cheese dumped on a pizza, or the worst..loving ice cream. So many ways to get

fat. Right now I think consuming a round of drinks is getting the most of your

calorie intake...up to one half. Now you got to get some calories from real food

for the other half for this to work.
