George (Jr.) filed more patents by the time he was barely 21, including a few we all know fairly well. Take one... The Automatic train air brake system...

Watch this vid off line. It's damn near two hours, but covers several decades of this self-educated inventor/engineer/humanitarian who kept going, and gave so much to this country. His life and legacy is understated, but hasn't been forgotten by his home town of Pittsburgh.
