The TV news clip I saw had Gus saying the BNSF weren't going to run any trains until
this party is over. Noticed the Anacortes Branch has been relayed with some heavy iron
and looks safe to run 100-car oil trains over at 25mph.

The whole thing was joke as it accomplished nothing. Just a chance for the weirdos
to get on TV. It was like it was "scripted"...BNSF playing along letting this fiasco take
place for a reasonable amount of time before the gestapo dispatched. Got to move
"some oil" now.

After nearly three days of environmental protesting, the Skagit County Sheriff's Office says trash was left littered on the side of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe train track. 

Anacortes Police Department spokesman Lou D'Amelio confirmed that the trash was from the protests, but said it was unclear if it was left intentionally or on accident.

Mark Koopsen, among others, posted this picture Sunday night to the KIRO 7 Facebook page. 

"This is disgusting," Koopsen wrote.

The sheriff's office said that BNSF officials were left to clean up the trash Sunday evening. 

Fifty-two protesters were arrested. D'Amelio said it is possible that the trash was left during the whirl of arrests and activity.

KIRO 7 asked the group that organized the blockade, Break Free PNW, for a statement but received no response through Facebook.

Facebook users also posted the above picture to Break Free PNWs Facebook page.

Explain this please, wrote one commenter. 

Is it even true? wrote another.

Break Free PNW responded, saying that law enforcement took down their art displays and supplies and did not let them remove them from the camp.

We would have loved to take them ourselves but, alas, we were not allowed. Break Free PNW responded.

Now that all the protestors are known by name, address, etc, round 'em up again, and send 'em back to the site ta clean up their 'art' displays!
