And is it legal to do the act yourself, or with help?
Physician-assisted suicide has been legal in the Province of Quebec, where it is referred to as medical aid in dying, since June 5, 2014. It became legal in the entire country June 17 2016 after new legislation was passed in Parliament as required by a 2015 Supreme Court of Canada decision,
