Police have identified the man they said robbed a Columbus taxi driver at gunpoint.
Columbus Police said the suspect was identified as Dennis Scalf.
Scalf is currently locked up in the Franklin County Jail on charges from the Ohio State Highway Patrol overnight.
He has also been charged with aggravated robbery.

Columbus Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint.
Police say the driver of a Yellow Taxi cab was parked in the 3000 block of Sullivant Avenue when he was approached by an unknown white male around 10 p.m. on October 19.
The man asked for a ride to Mount Carmel West and got into the backseat.
The driver asked for payment in advance and then suspect displayed a gun. He then demanded cash and the drivers cell phone.
The driver complied and the suspect took off on foot.
The suspect was described as a male white, 25-35 years old, thin build, multiple tattoos on face and neck, unshaven, wearing a hoodie, baseball cap, and armed with a handgun.
